Perfectly Imperfect Journey

The journey of imperfection. What freedom it is.. to be loved perfectly while being imperfect. What fear there is also, to now walk on new grounds, unfamiliar with the freedom, finally to walk without the shackles. Wondering, how it would turn out and also remembering not to put the shackles back on again simply out of familiarity.

There's only area that i will not stop pursuing perfection in, and that is in the love that God has modeled for us

""You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that
you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on
the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the
unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." - Matt 5:43-48

"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." - 1 John 4:18

TO aim to love perfectly as our heavenly Father loves. And in that perfection of love, live the life of fearlessness He has called us to.

Let us then be made perfect in love, and not in fear! GOD help us, help me!
