A "Home made" Bday Celebration! (Updated w new pics)

My SNGS Prefectorial board friends put together a very special bday celebration for me today.. they insisted we have time in the afternoon just the ladies then dinner with the respective spouses after.. so we had a whole good afternoon and evening to catch up and just to hang with each other.

This was a special "home made" bday celebration because so many things were home made and customized! and for that, i so extra appreciate it!

I was so blessed because Ann prepared specially home brewed tea and her mum was SO sweet, she made me home made tau suan and redbean pancake!! m so touched! i mean, i feel like a kid again, that her mum would make something for me! *sob* . Also, yinwei made almond jelly for dessert as well, and coming from a mother of 2, with one newborn, i super appreciate the effort!!!

Was also super blessed by this 2008 calendar customized with pictures of the special times we've spent together as friends over the years.. days right after A levels when we went on a cruise, their respective ROMs and the gatherings we've had all over the years.

What was also nice was that the children (or child) and spouses could join in as well.. was nice to spend time with Junqi and Zibin also in the evening..

i love it that we can still be a part of each other's lives even after 15 years.. watch each other grow through the different stages of lives and still be a part of it. I count it a privilege to a part of these ladies lives, I so do. Thank you so much for the memories that you continue to build over the years though i tend to forget so many of them, esp those that we've not taken pics of..haha.. i'm so happy that beatrice and ann are always there to remind me of them! PLease impart some of those memory cells!!
