1 Month!

Today is exactly ONE MONTH since i came back to SG for good from Manila! that means it's 4 weeks.. what have i done in this 1 month?

Friends: Brought ronelle round Singapore and also met with many of my secondary school friends and others... i've never been to Food Republic @ Wisma as well as Orchard Cineleisure as many times as i have had since i came back! Sad to say, i m slightly insulted and tickled at the same time that my peer friends from youth ministry are shocked that i asked them out just to HANG OUT. As in, they can't believe that i would ask them out without any other  work-related 'motive'. Talaga naman. Was i THAT bad before i went to Manila?? haha.. Well, honestly its true. I never hung out with any of the church pp really except for a couple of close girlfriends.. most of the rest of my life was either work or rest! :p Thank you, people in  Manila for teaching me to HANG OUT (dedicated to Ria Llanto)

Ministry: So many new faces! So many new leaders in the group! I am SO excited! God is surely preparing an amazing team to carry His work here in SG... heh. Thank u SWMers for the prayers... our number of campus/ youth volunteers have increased since then! Perhaps the magic formula was me leaving SG...heh. am meeting up with new girls.. doing One to One, starting from scratch again. It feels good to be ploughing the land again, i love sharing the basics!

Also, we have officially started our Campus outreach group! But we certainly need the power and grace of God to grow it! I am REALLY  REALLY excited!!! And i am SUPER looking forward to the chance of running a Freshmen Orientation Camp on Campus in August! May the plans pull through by the favor of God!

Work: I am doing the balancing act.. working with 2 organisations at one time! m now part time with Every Nation Ministries in SG.. and part time with another VWO.. been interesting so far! still trying to get my bearings and gain a better understanding of my job scope.. but my colleagues are fantastic, so no complaints! In both, I am under the title of Special Projects , which in SG could also mean Bao Ka Liao.. haha.. but i'm happy! :)

Family : Undergoing transtion.. or just underwent.. because my previous maid of 4 years just left us the last Thursday.. and somehow it doesn't feel like it coz i keep thinking i'll see her in the house some how. anyways, we have a new maid, from Myanmar... she seems really nice so far, an English teacher from Myanmar. Her goal is really to work in SG for the next 2 years so that she can afford to build a classroom and generator so her mum, who's also a teacher, can teach and not travel too far to do so. I find that kinda cool! Brought her with me to church today and introduced her to Angel our Burmese disciple.. and yeah! Angel will be doing One to One with her :)

With all the above  and more happening... my soul is undergoing adjustment.. but i remind myself to focus on 2 things: God and building relationships with others. Tell myself to stop worrying about and thinking unnecessarily and giving myself extra stress. It's giving me a headache! :P
